Mark Visser is a writer/director based near Denver, Colorado.

His sci-fi short film “The Camcorder” is currently playing the festival circuit where it has garnered praise for exploring a uniquely original high concept story. It recently played at the NOAM Film Festival in Faenza, Italy where it took home two awards: the “Premio della Giuria NOAM Youth” and the “Premio del Pubblico Giovani.” It was also nominated for Best Sci-Fi Short at FilmQuest Festival.

“The Camcorder” is being developed into a feature length film with production beginning in 2026.

Smoked gouda is Mark’s favorite cheese.
